The Great Beginnings
Since I can remember I loved baking. I started out with those Betty Crocker boxes you would buy at the super market. I'd think I was a professional when I broke the egg and saw it drop into the bowl, flowing down the pile of powder that came from the box. I fell in love. Next I moved on to making my delicacies from scratch. I would put on my apron and grab my beater and away I went creating my "culinary master-pieces". I made brownies, cookies cakes and one or two pies. Occasionally I made the most mouthwatering cinnamon buns. The recipe was passed down to me from my grandfather. My cakes were also tasty, but the decerations were... lacking. So, I went off and learned more about cake decorating. A lot of what I learned were from shows on the Food Network and TLC's Cake Boss. I also took classes at a local High School on baking. I loved it so much. Baking is my passion and something I would love to share with people other than my family. So, I created this blog to track my culinary endeavors, as I dive into the world of baking and pastry! I want to share my experiences in the baking world and post pictures of the (hopefully) beautiful food I make and the horrific ones too.
